These Work Packages will provide a standard programme towards achieving the overall goal and vision of the Aurora Alliance; to produce European graduates with the skills and mindset needed to address societal challenges.

03 Aurora Learning for Societal Impact
This Work Package will change educational practice so that students will be learning for demonstrable and tangible societal impact.

WP 3.1.1
Aurora Competences Framework
Develop and implement the Aurora Competences Framework of general academic and personal competences with progressive performance descriptors, needed to ensure students become social entrepreneurs & innovators.

Aurora International Internship Programme
Improve and extend the use of Service Learning and International Internships as specific Aurora pedagogical methods contributing to skills/values development.

Aurora Service Learning Programme
Train academics and support staff in the use of Service Learning and Internship to enhance the development of students’ skills, attitudes, and behavioural intentions.

Aurora Social Transformation
Make our student population reflect the talent in the communities we serve, without underrepresentation of any groups in our population

Aurora Borderless Learning
Create an Aurora Education Area with recognised mobility for all.

Set up the Aurora Open Educational Resources platform.

Understand and to overcome mobility and recognition obstacles students may have as exchange students within the Aurora network.

Plurilingual competence
Open existing language-learning opportunities (courses, labs, platforms, games) across the Aurora Alliance.

Aurora Pilot Domains
Test and implement our innovations in competences and mobility opportunities as well as in the SDG perspective in all programmes in four pilot challenge domains.

Aurora Teaching for Societal Impact
Systematically equip and support academic teachers in Teaching for Societal Impact in terms of skills & mind-set, international experience, diverse classroom and/or SDG Perspective

Aurora Learning Analytics
Strengthen the evidence base of Aurora education with big data analysis

To develop academic collaboration within Aurora towards the intra-Alliance optimum, enhancing cross-fertilisation between education and research.

To develop Social Entrepreneurship & Innovation as a common field of expertise at Alliance level.

WP 4.4
Aurora Capacity Development Support
Narrow the quality gap in higher education & research for different parts of Europe by supporting universities in CE Europe and Neighbouring Countries in strengthening their capacity for academic excellence and societal relevance.

WP 4.5
Aurora Institute
Express and enhance the identity of the Aurora European University Alliance as and European institution in its own right, beyond the identity of the individual member universities of the Alliance.
